CORTLAND - Mary R. Simmons, 79, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at home.
She was born May 21, 1934 in Gypsy, W.Va., the daughter of Virgil and Sefrona Palmer Martin.
She married William Simmons I on Sept. 2, 1952.
